Our Commitment to Privacy

At Iqra Wartqi, we are guided by the noble principles of Islam in all our practices, including how we handle your personal information. The Quran teaches us: "O you who believe! Fulfill your contracts" (Al-Ma'idah 5:1), and we honor this divine guidance by treating your personal data as an amanah (trust) that has been placed in our care.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock" (Sahih al-Bukhari). We take this responsibility seriously in protecting your privacy and safeguarding the information you entrust to us.

  • One-Way Information Flow: Information sharing, when it occurs, flows only from sponsor to student, never in reverse

This policy reflects our commitment to protecting student privacy as the ultimate amanah while facilitating beneficial sponsorship relationships.

Your Data as Amanah (Sacred Trust)

Following Islamic principles of trustworthiness, we pledge:

  • Complete Confidentiality: Your personal data will never be shared, sold, or released to third parties without your explicit consent, except for secure payment processing, sponsor information sharing as outlined above, and legal compliance requirements
  • Student Privacy Absolute: Student personal information is never shared with sponsors, regardless of consent or sponsorship arrangements

  • Honesty and Transparency: We will always be clear about how we use your information
  • Accountability: We take full responsibility for protecting the trust you place in us

As Allah says in the Quran: "Indeed, Allah orders you to render trusts to whom they are due" (An-Nisa 4:58).

Legal Requirements and Compliance

While we uphold the Islamic principle of protecting trusts, we also recognize our obligation to lawful authority as commanded in the Quran: "O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you" (An-Nisa 4:59).

In rare circumstances, we may be legally required to share personal information with:

  • Law enforcement agencies
  • Courts and judicial authorities

Our Commitment in Such Cases:

  • We will seek your consent whenever legally permissible

Such disclosures will only occur when we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to comply with applicable laws or legal processes.
